USB launches Fraud Protection System

Union State Bank is now live with Falcon Fraud Scoring, a program that tracks your card purchase patterns to quickly identify and prevent abuse on your account. Falcon is a FREE service to all USB debit and credit card users, and will help protect you against identity theft and provide alerts if your card information is ever stolen. For more details contact your local USB branch.

Community events ‘Better Together’ with USB

Union State Bank is proud sponsor of two upcoming county-wide events. The 2nd Annual Wings & Wheels Strother Field fly-in and classic car show will be held Saturday, July 11th in honor of pilot Melvin Currant. The event will feature precision landing contests; breakfast and lunch courtesy of the Kiwanis Club; precision flour bombing contests sponsored by the Youth Football Club; free Young Eagle flights; introductory flights from B-Four Flying; static aircraft, motorcycle and military vehicle displays; aerobatic rides by Knife Edge Aerobatics; and a plane and car wash provided by the Purple Paws dance team. The Cowley County Fair begins Thursday, July 30th through Monday, August 3rd and will showcase the best our county has to offer. Be sure to visit USB’s ATM at the fairgrounds should you need any cash!

Union State Bank is participating in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2009, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
